MINI has built over 1 million examples of the second-generation MINI Hatch, but now the very last one has left the production line in Oxford. It will soon be replaced by an all-new – and much larger – third-generation MINI Hatch, which was launched to the press and public at the Oxford Plant on 18 November 2013. Porsche to add 1,000 employees

To keep pace with its planned model expansion and sales targets, Porsche AG will add more than 1,000 employees by 2015, Automotive News Europe has learned from Volkswagen Group sources. About 500 jobs will be added for production of Porsche's new compact SUV, codenamed the Cajun, which will go on sale in 2013 in Europe and in North America about six months later. Porsche's supervisory board will make a decision on the production location of the Cajun in mid-March.

Experiment Proves A Testing Time For Experienced Drivers

WOULD you pass your driving test second time around? Insurance company Direct Line wanted to answer that age-old question, and gathered 50 experienced drivers and put them through the standard driving test to find out. The result was that more than three quarters of them failed, with those that did recording an average of three serious or dangerous faults, with one participant committing 10 major faults.
